Career Development Fellowships

*The third and final round of applications is now closed*

Career development fellowships are 12-month or 6-month placements (part-time), which will enable you to develop a proposal for PhD or project funding. You will be based within an ARC North Thames team according to your project needs. The research can cover any area of mental health except dementia as this is funded under a different NIHR programme.

This opportunity is open to staff working in or with mental health services, including in Local Authorities, who have some prior experience of research, but no qualifications are required.

We particularly welcome applications from candidates working in East London and Essex, people from minoritised backgrounds, and those working in areas of mental health and social care with limited opportunities to engage with research.
