EXPERTISE AND INTERESTS

Ada has a longstanding research interest in the applications of digital healthcare to deliver health services to medically underserved populations. Her previous research has focused on the use of mobile health (mHealth), with a particular interest in sexual and reproductive healthcare. After completing her undergraduate degree in Anthropology at Oxford University, she undertook an MSc in Digital Anthropology at UCL, followed by a Wellcome Trust funded MSc in Public Health at LSHTM.

In between degrees she has spent time volunteering and working in Low- and Middle-Income countries, which has helped to fuel her interest in the potential for digital healthcare for vulnerable populations. She is currently completing her PhD at The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, looking at the interactions between digital healthcare and health inequalities in the UK.
