EXPERTISE AND INTERESTS

Alison is a registered nurse and clinical leader. Her research interests encompass young people's healthcare; qualitative and participatory methodologies; and cancer care. Alison is committed to building nurses' research capacity, and to strengthening the profession's contribution to evidence-based practice and care.

A former NIHR Clinical Doctoral Research Fellow, Alison completed her PhD (2023) at UCL's Department of Applied Health Research. 

Alison was awarded an MBE for services to healthcare in 2009.
