EXPERTISE AND INTERESTS

Helen's main research interests are in statistical methodology. Her current research project is funded by an NIHR grant looking to identify the processes of care that influence outcomes in bowel cancer patients undergoing emergency surgery. As part of her research, Helen is developing methods for linkage of multiple routine datasets. This project has been adopted by the NIHR ARC North Thames. 
 
Helen completed her PhD at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 2020. Her PhD research focused on missing data methods for propensity score analysis of observational data, with application to electronic health record data.
