EXPERTISE AND INTERESTS

Monica's research promotes citizen science using structured and participatory methods to co-design interventions for the advancement of population science. She particularly focuses on disability, asthma and nutrition as exemplar public health issues in South Asian families to optimise their health and later risk for non-communicable disease.

Monica is also a community paediatrician and works directly with children and their families to understand their health challenges.
