Are you a policy professional, university staff or health or social care practitioner with an interest in Knowledge Mobilisation (KM)?

This workshop is suitable for all those who want to learn what regional Knowledge Mobilisation is and gain foundational skills for building partnerships outside their own organisations or sectors. This will be broad training delivered through a highly practical, engaging workshop designed to connect people working across health and social care sectors and organisations in London.

This introductory-level workshop, run by the NIHR ARC North Thames Academy, together with the London Research and Policy Partnership and ARC North Thames Knowledge Mobilisation Fellowship Programme, provides practical tips and learning about what Knowledge Mobilisation is (and isn’t) and how it can be applied to the regional research-policy-practice landscape.

The workshop will be held in-person in a central London venue, for up to 40 attendees (members of university staff, policy professionals, and practitioners).

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Identify effective collaboration and engagement opportunities within your organisation / sector to support partnership- building beyond your own organisation
  • Identify relevant and different ways to integrate knowledge mobilisation throughout your project/research cycle/decision making processes
Registration opens October 2025
