Health engagement to avoid interpersonal violent injury in young Londoners (HEAL)

Summary

This research aimed to develop a comprehensive picture of young Londoners' experiences with violent knife injury and serious youth violence through qualitative research methods to inform and guide effective public health interventions.

This project conducted fieldwork in East London with young people (13-19 years old), key workers, and health professionals to gain insight into perceptions of current interventions to reduce youth knife violence, and experiences of health services. 

Key Findings

We will be sharing findings through strategies and events planned between May and September 2024 which are being co-designed with young people and creative youth workers.
