EXPERTISE AND INTERESTS
Elizabeth has a background in mental health research and neuroscience. In her previous work, she investigated how small area deprivation is associated with attitudes towards mental illness in England.
Elizabeth's PhD research (funded by NIHR CLAHRC/ARC North Thames and the NIHR School for Public Research) looks at how we can better use linked NHS and council data to advance understanding of the social determinants of multimorbidity and inform the equitable provision of health and care services. She has a particular interest in how physical and mental health conditions interact, health inequalities and social determinants of health.
