About the event
This all-day in person event is an opportunity to celebrate and discover more about the programme’s achievements, its awardees, its network, and the future of inclusive and diverse mental health research.
The morning will be dedicated to panels to spark discussions and ideas. In the afternoon, we’ll host workshops and develop plans to enhance research capacity around 'hot topics' in mental health.
The afternoon will focus on unpacking hot topics and mapping actions to shape the future direction of mental health research in the North Thames region. Developing connections and opportunities or collaboration will be a key feature of the day.
Speakers will include:
- Professor Peter Fonagy (Head of the Division of Psychology and Language Sciences, UCL)
- Dr Kate Martin (Head of Lived Experiences at Wellcome Trust)
- Lynis Lewis (Service Director, Research & Development North London Mental Health Trust)
The event has been co-produced with a team of 17 public contributors, our amazing People's Panel. Members of the People's Panel will be leading the event, and will chair and respond to discussions.
